Why Choose First on Scene?

With years of experience dealing with real life emergencies, our expert trainers draw on their own personal pre-hospital care experiences to make learning fun and memorable. This ensures that learners leave with the confidence and vital life saving skills needed to deal with the wide range of emergency situations.

Assessment and Requalification:

Learners will be continually assessed throughout the Level 4 FREC® course and will be required to complete 3 workbooks post course. Successful candidates will receive a QA Level 4 Certificate in First Response Emergency Care (QCF). This is valid for a period of 3 years and can be renewed by attending a shorter 3 day requalification course.

Entry Requirements:

Learners must be at least 18 years old and should have successfully completed a Level 3 Certificate in First Response Emergency Care (RQF) or an equivalent recognised qualification. It is advised that learners also have a minimum of Level 2 in numeracy and literacy.

Refresher Training:

In line with Resuscitation Council (UK) guidance it is strongly recommended that first responders undertake annual refresher training that includes Basic Life Support and Automated External Defibrillation.
