This 1 day Emergency Paediatric First Aid course covers key first aid skills needed when dealing with children and equips learners with the skills and confidence to deal with paediatric first aid emergencies.
This Ofqual regulated qualification is designed for people working with children who need to comply with the EYFS and Ofsted requirements and who wish to be included in the staff to child ratios. This includes teachers, nursery workers and assistants.
Valid for 3 years
Please note: All early years providers must have at least one staff member available at all times who has completed the higher level, 2 day paediatric first aid qualification. Please see our Level 3 Award in Paediatric First Aid course.
As well as being suitable in a childcare environment, this course is also perfect for parents or family members who wish to learn the basics of paediatric first aid.
