Reviewing your training

The COVID-19 pandemic has affected the way we deal with many situations, including first aid. First aiders must keep up-to-date with vital first aid adaptations introduced as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic.

If your first aiders have not attended a course with us recently, then it is important that they receive COVID-specific training immediately.

Renew expired qualifications

First Aiders who have taken the initial 3-day course can renew their qualification with a First Aid at Work Requalification course.

This course allows learners to update their knowledge of essential first aid techniques and also receive vital adaptions due to the pandemic.

Update existing qualifications

Our Annual Refresher courses now include COVID-adaptions.

Our instructors will refresh existing first aid knowledge and cover important COVID-19 skills updates designed to ensure the safety of both first aiders and the injured parties they are helping.

We have also introduced a brand new ‘Remote’ Annual Refresher course, delivered live via Zoom.

Greater flexibility with Blended Learning

Combining highly engaging online learning with our industry-leading classroom sessions, Blended Learning is a new and innovative learning method that offers the best of both worlds.

For those requiring a First Aid at Work (Initial or Requalification) qualification, it is now possible to complete a portion of this course online from home or place of work via our Blended Learning platform.

Our Blended Learning methods were introduced to provide greater flexibility and a reduced need for in-person interaction. You can now experience Blended Learning on the following courses:

Supporting your staff with Mental Health First Aiders

  • Recognise signs and symptoms of many common mental health issues
  • Direct anyone with potential mental ill health to appropriate and reliable support, both within the workplace and externally
  • Actively listen and feel confident having open conversations about mental health with those who may be suffering
  • Be a confident mental health advocate within the workplace

Learned more than ever with Blended Learning. The online information was very detailed and I learned things that I haven't learned before. The classroom part was also much more detailed. Always a great pleasure.

Donna

I found the trainer very easy to talk to and knowledgeable, he could back up his knowledge through his experience working as a paramedic with Yorkshire Ambulance Service. The course was delivered safely with COVID-19 very much in our minds.

Terry

A great informative day with an experienced trainer, very knowledgeable and with an injection of good humour facilitated a good learning experience.
