Coronavirus (COVID-19) – Training Suspended

In light of the current circumstances surrounding coronavirus (COVID-19), the time is now right for us to suspend all classroom based First on Scene training courses effective from Tuesday 24th March 2020

If you are currently attending a course it will not be completed this week. We are working to update affected learners.

We hope to restart courses from 1st June 2020, subject to the conditions at the time, and courses will be offered for rescheduling from that date onwards.

Please be assured that the highest levels of clinical infection prevention and control will continue in place as and when we do restart.

I have a training course booked, what happens next?

In the next few days, we will contact all customers who have made bookings during this period to discuss their transfer options.  Those with bookings within the next 2 weeks will be prioritised, so please bear with us.

As we anticipate a significant spike in course bookings following the closure, we will of course prioritise customers that have been forced to delay their training and will try to secure alternative dates. We also advise those with bookings beyond 1st June 2020 to keep their existing course dates to avoid disappointment.

What should I do if my qualification is about to expire?

Don’t worry! The Health and Safety Executive (HSE) have announced a 3 month extension to the validity for all certificates coming up for renewal on or after 16th March. The Department for Education has also introduced the same extension for all Paediatric First Aid certificates. For more information, please see their statement here.

If it is essential that you receive first aid courses over the coming weeks as part of key worker provision, please get in touch with us directly.

We apologise for any inconvenience caused and we will be back training with you as soon as the situation allows.
