Dr Andy Lockey – Medical Director Andy is a Consultant in Accident and Emergency Medicine and Chairman of the Advance Life Support Course Committee of the Resuscitation Council UK. He is also a member of the Education Committee of the European Resuscitation Council and holds a Masters Degree in Medical Education. |
Teresa Barron – Educational Lead Instructor Teresa is a Registered Nurse with experience in A&E, Paediatrics and Occupational Health. She has taught first aid for 8 years and holds a Post Graduate Certificate in Education. Teresa delivers 'Train the Trainer' courses, including our Edexcel accredited 'PTLLS' training. |
Toby McClane – Clinical Lead Instructor Toby holds a wide range of advanced pre hospital care and medical qualifications. Following 9 years working for the Ambulance Service, he has completed a Certificate in Education and has experience of delivering instructor training programs to several UK police forces. Toby also delivers our IHCD accredited First Person On Scene (FPOS) courses. |
Ian Beard Ian has gained over 15 years experience in teaching first aid whilst working as an instructor for East Midlands Ambulance Service and as a Training Officer for Airport Fire Fighters. He is also responsible for training and coordinating a Community First Responder scheme and holds a Level 3 Training Development qualification. |
Alan Beecroft Alan worked for South Yorkshire Fire & Rescue as a fire fighter for 30 years. He has been a first aid instructor for over 20 years and holds a City & Guilds Certificate in Teaching. |

Julie Deaney In addition to First Aid Training, Julie works for East Midlands Ambulance Service as a Community Resuscitation Defibrillation Officer. She has over 7 years of teaching experience that includes providing life support training to NHS nursing staff, doctors and consultants. She has also delivered specialist courses for staff working with vulnerable adults and instructor courses for the British Heart Foundation's 'Heart Start' programme. |
Roy Goff Roy was previously an instructor with East Midlands Ambulance Service and has experience in teaching First Aid and Health and Safety courses for over 10 years. He holds a Certificate in Education and a Diploma in Training Management. |
Dave Heslop David worked as a NHS Paramedic for 21 years and has taught first aid for 26 years. He holds a NHS Teaching qualification and is undertaking a City & Guilds Certificate in Teaching. David is also a qualified Driving Instructor. |

Chris Tempest Chris is a Qualified Paramedic with over 23 years experience working for East Midlands Ambulance Service. As an instructor for 17 years with EMAS, he has taught first aid courses to a wide range of businesses, community groups and NHS staff. |
