Safer Manual Handling People (Wheelchair Users) Training Course
This comprehensive, 5 hour course is suitable for anyone supporting an essential wheelchair user with transportation and transfer on a regular basis. The course includes both theory and practical sessions to educate delegates on safer manual handling techniques when pushing wheelchairs and assisting wheelchair users with transfers.
The course aims to give the delegates an insight into how it feels to be an essential wheelchair user, and what can be done to improve access for both wheelchair users and those pushing wheelchairs.
The course is aimed at anyone who supports an essential wheelchair user with transportation and transfer on a regular basis and can be tailored to meet the needs of your particular workplace and/or individual needs.
