Level 3 Award in Health and Safety
in the Workplace
This comprehensive, CIEH approved 3 day course is designed for employees with supervisory or management responsibilities. Supervisors and managers have both legal and moral responsibility to look after the health and safety of employees.
This is the management level qualification for those managing health and safety in the workplace, and will enable managers and supervisors to improve the health and safety culture of their organisation, whatever its size of activity.
The aim of the course is to provide the knowledge required by employers, those employed to manage or train Health and Safety in the workplace. This includes an understanding of workplace safety, occupational health and hygiene, safe systems, techniques of safety management, education, training, and legislation.
This course is aimed at supervisors, middle management, team leaders and the owners of small businesses or anyone with a responsibility for health and safety in the workplace.
Assessment and Certification
All delegates will undertake a formal multiple-choice examination at the end of the course.
All successful delegates will receive a nationally recognised Chartered Institute of Environmental Health Level 3 Award in Health and Safety in the Workplace certificate.
