Health and Safety

Preventing accidents and illness at work is a key priority for every workplace.

Employers have both a legal and moral obligation to ensure that employees work in both a safe and healthy environment. The Health and Safety at Work Act 1974 states that employers should provide whatever information, instruction, training and supervision necessary to ensure the health and safety at work of their employees.

However, with 135 workers being killed at work in 2022/23 and 565,000 people injured in accidents at work every year, there is still a need for significant improvement.

Ensuring employees are trained in correct health and safety procedures with First on Scene will not only ensure that your organisation has fulfilled its legal obligations but our training also helps to develop a positive health and safety culture within your organisation, preventing accidents from happening in the first place.

As one of the UK’s leading providers of health and safety training, we offer a range of nationally recognised courses. Our team of dynamic trainers have a wealth of knowledge and occupational experience to ensure that courses are interesting and relevant to your working environment.

Our Health and Safety courses are delivered ‘on site’, meaning we bring our training to your premises and tailor our courses to your specific needs.
