Nigel Barraclough – Training Director
Nigel has been a Registered Paramedic and First Aid Trainer for 12 years. He is the author of the UK's most popular range of first aid books, First Aid Made Easy, and holds a Certificate in Education. |
Dr Andy Lockey – Medical Director
Andy is a Consultant in Accident and Emergency Medicine and Chairman of the Advance Life Support Course Committee of the Resuscitation Council UK. He is also a member of the Education Committee of the European Resuscitation Council and holds a Masters Degree in Medical Education. |
Teresa Barron
Teresa is a Registered Nurse with experience in A&E, Paediatrics and Occupational Health. She has taught first aid for 7 years and holds a Post Graduate Certificate in Education. Teresa delivers 'Train the Trainer' courses, including our Edexcel accredited 'PTLLS' training.

Rachael Binns
Rachael is a Senior Staff Nurse with 6 years experience. She has taught first aid and health and safety courses for 4 years and holds a Chartered Institute of Environmental Health Professional Trainer's Certificate.

Wendy Bithray
Wendy is a serving Fire Fighter who is a Qualified First Aid Trainer for the Fire & Rescue Service. She is the Author of Fire Safety Made Easy and holds a Certificate in Education.

Dave Heslop
David worked as a NHS Paramedic for 21 years and has taught first aid for 11 years. He holds a Yorkshire Regional Health Authority Teaching Certificate and is undertaking a City & Guilds Certificate in Teaching in the Lifelong Learning Sector. David is also a qualified Driving Instructor. |
Bill Joynes
Bill worked for 27 years in the Ambulance Service and was a station officer for 7 years. He also became a Senior Training Officer within the Ambulance Service and has been teaching first aid for over 20 years. |
Toby McClane
Toby has been a Qualified Ambulance Technician for 6 years, holds a level 4 teaching qualification and was a member of St. John Ambulance for 17 years. He is currently undertaking a Certificate in Education is training to deliver our accredited 'PTLLS' 'Train the Trainer' courses. |
Joanne Moore
Joanne has worked as a Trainer for Yorkshire Air Ambulance and as a Field Based Assessor for the Ambulance Service. She has taught first aid for 10 years and holds a City & Guilds Certificate in Teaching. |
Jayne Myers
Jayne worked in the NHS Ambulance Service for 20 years, serving 12 years as a Qualified Paramedic. Jayne has taught first aid for 6 years and holds a City & Guilds Teaching Certificate. |
Pam Selby
Pam worked for 23 years in the NHS Ambulance Service, serving 9 years as a Qualified Paramedic. She has taught first aid for 7 years and holds a City & Guilds Certificate in Teaching. |
